Homework
Homework will be placed in your child’s folder to be completed on a regular basis. Homework is important and is meant to reinforce and extend what is being taught in class. We hope to start building good habits concerning responsibility and turning assignments in on time. It is never too early to start! Please discuss the importance of homework with your child and set aside a specific time for this activity.
Please make sure your child does homework each night (15-20 minutes is all I expect). It is not meant to be completed all in one night. Along with the homework, I would like to see you reading with your child. Many students are doing awesome in their reading, let your child read to you! I know many times it is a long & drawn out process but it is vital to their success!
